I find myself explaining to many people that comics are a medium not a genre, filled with the same variety in story type that exists in every other medium. Mouse Guard really crystallizes this for me. This is an all ages book that would probably appeal to almost anyone. If you like adventure, intrigue, politics and stories of friendship, this is the book for you. Half the time you’ll forget that the main characters are mice and you’ll see them instead as just the strong characters they are. I encourage you, even if you don’t normally listen, check this one out. This is a book that everyone can enjoy.
